Team Work!

Yesterday Jason and I got to tattoo shop-friend and client James’ feet at the same time. James opted for the traditional pig and rooster on his feet. According to superstition, it was considered good luck for a sailor to have a pig and a rooster tattooed on the left and right foot. Although neither pigs nor roosters are able to swim, they had a surprisingly high survival rate during shipwrecks because they were kept in wooden crates, which float. We don’t normally tattoo the same person at once at the shop, but it was a special request and a fun experience. Here’s some pictures of the tattoos we did and us tattooing James, as well as some other tattoos I’ve done recently. Jason did the pig and I did the rooster!
